Clevedon Pier - North Somerset

Got myself a new Urth 10 stop filter so headed down to Clevedon to get a long exposure photo of the pier.

I'd like to have got a wider shot but had to frame it to try to hide the scaffolding, or at least minimise it.

Go back at night and do the same. I have a lovely photo of it from several years ago ..Long exposure, too using my 10-stop, when the lights are on, on the pier and the lights of Cardiff or Newport,I'm not sure which, show across the river, too. I won't post my photo here so you get a free run at it.

That does sound like it would make a pretty nice photo, I'll probably wait until winter when it gets dark earlier.

I believe it's Newport, I used public transport to get to Clevedon when I took this, the train from Birmingham to Bristol went via Newport due to engineering work, I checked Google Maps when we called at Newport and was surprised to see I was almost dead opposite where I was heading!
