Went out this morning thinking I would make the most of the overcast weather, got to the spot and the heavens opened. Managed to get 3 shots, and I feel that this is the better one.

(while there I was thinking of making an attachment for the tripod for a umbrella Clamp???)

What do you guys think ?

I think I'd call that a near miss. Its a little too dark, I think?

Just a bit too much blurring on the water there perhaps? :ponders: I don't have a problem with the brightness level.

plenty detail in the shadows, I'd say the blurring was just about right :)

I love it kris :)

Dark enough to look moody, and the water has a little too much blur though for my tatses,

Still, a fantastic shot :)

yeah its a good shot, water a bit TOO blurry

get a babie buggy sunshade thang and modify it into an umbrella

Has a mystical quality being as dark as it is. Agree the water has lost all texture through blurring. Like it though and the location looks great.

Don't golfers have clamp mechanisms for their brolleys 'n trolleys too ?

Great shot, I personally feel like the blur of the water and think it adds depth :)

For my taste, i'd like it lighter, I like the movement in the water :)

Light's about right for the subject, I think - the amount of 'water-blur' (tm) is a fairly subjective thing at the best of times.
