Close up lens Walimex vs Hoya & reverse lens macro.

Hi,

I recently discovered screw in close up lenses, but looking on the internet, I saw some serious price differences between Walimex and Hoya. Hoya being a lot more expensive.
And I would also like to have your feedback on reverse lens macro photography?

- Anyone any experience with these screw in close up lenses?
- Is it better to just keep on saving for a real macro lens?
- Is reverse lens macro photography safe for lens and body? Does it really work? Some say it's even better than a macro lens?
