CLS clips for Nikon ?

Guys,

I have a Nikon D200 and very interested in taking pictures through my new telescope.

My question, is there a CLS clip for Nikon cameras. I've only found these for Canon cameras.

CLS clip in is for Canon only AFAIK. Canon dominate in DSLR astrophotography... Renders you unable to use EF-S lenses though without having to manually set white balance tho...

What 'scope you got and what you hoping to take pictures of? Astrophotography is waaay more expensive than "normal" photography....

I've done astro photography before, just wondered about my Nikon.
The scope is Autotracked, 300mm F/5. Suppose I'll just have to concentrate on Open and Globular Clusters. Thanks for the reply.

LOL... Stargazers lounge. Haven't been on there in a while! Yes - open and globular with an alt-az scope - you won't be able to deal with field rotation for real long exposure for the nebulae. You could always get a CLS screw in filter if light pollution really is bad where you are....

Always enjoyed my 12" dob... Just got mightily hacked off at how infrequently I used it, so sold it (and a number of other things) to buy a 5D2...
 
Don't forget the steel toecaps when shifting it... ;)
