Clyde waterfront by night

Living on Skye I don't get the chance to shoot much on the way of architecture/urban, but on a recent trip I spent two nights in Glasgow and was blessed with some lovely conditions for night shooting. Here are few of them.

Cracking images Marie (and a well-deserved win in POTY for this month). Agree with other crit on 4 but to be honest, I'd love to be able to take a shot even half as good as that one.

The colours are certainly punchy but it works with the dark surrounding.

No 1-3 are the best IMHO, I'd probably single out 2 as my favourite. I do like that purple haze.

Which time of night were they taken?

Probably between 11pm and 12.30am mainly (over two nights). I was staying in the Hilton so only had to step out the door with camera and tripod and walk around the quay.

I was shooting down here a 2 days back. The Clyde was choppy. You got the perfect conditions for this. Well dine for taking advantage of it

Look at the multi lighting on the bridge. Gutted had that been as still as yours I'd be so happy
