great capture, and lovely colours. Only niggle for me is the loss of detail round the eye area, but thats just nit-picking. Just to ask doug, how do you find the sigma for shooting our feathered friends?.

I have to disagree with what Gareth said, Doug. Imo the most important element which is focus on the eye has spoilt what would have been a good capture.

Doug, even when you get a full on shot their eyes don't seem to reflect much light.

i think light reflection on eye all depends on angle of the shot and amount of light on the day
