Found this Cockchafer sitting on a leaf. He let me take some photos before he got tired of the flash and trundled off to the bottom of the leaf.

these are some nice sharp shot but you have croped the leg in no.1

Nice find Mike and well photographed. I've not seen any this year but normally see one or two in the garden from time to time.
