I'm after buying a Cokin filter holder to fit my 400D and 18-55 IS kit lens, so I can grab a few ND filters.

Should I but the Cokin P like this one CLICKY. Then get the adapter ring seperately.

You don't need the wide angle holder for the kit lens, unless you're planning on getting a UWA lens at some point, the standard one will be fine.
TBH, the cheap copies on eBay are as good as the Cokin branded ones (there's not a lot of technology in them after all) and you can probably find a holder + adaptor ring for less than Amazon want for the holder.

Agree.

I bought a cheap adapter and filter holder set for £5.90 delivered.

Thanks for the replies, I'll have a hunt round.

Just got one for £5.35 delivered including adapter, from the internet's favourite car boot sale.

Could have got it cheaper still, but rather buy from a UK seller.
