Cokin P Filter folder advice

Hey everyone just bought a couple of cokin p filters and the adapter ring that fits a 77mm. I am wondering will the filter holder attach to a step down ring i have so i can use it on smaller lenses ?

Yes, but you'll find that adapter rings and step up rings are pretty much the same price, so go for adapter rings as it's a lot faster to clip on the adapter to a ring than fannying around screwing in step up rings!

Thanks for the speed reply Alan . I allready have the 77-52/58 mm rings for a couple of nd filters i have saves me buying anymore.
