Cokin P Filters in a Hitech 85 Holder

Does anyone know if Cokin P filters will safely fit into a Hitech 85 filter holder? I understand that Cokin P filters are actually 84mm, and am worried about them falling out. The aim is to use coloured filters for B&W film photography, and Hitech don't seem to supply them any more.

Thé hi tech holder is effectively ´P’ size .
I use both hi tech ´P’ square filters ( 84mm) and cokin P filters in a hi tech holder.

To add, if you use the circular cokin P polarising filter, be aware that some holders ( 3rd party will not accept the filter.

There are typically 3 slots for the square filters and behind them a narrower 4th slot for a Polariser..... this 4th slot sometimes isn’t present or if it is, sometimes will not accept the 84mm diameter of the filter.
