I actually really like number 2. Id probably have been tempted to go with a tighter crop, removing a bit of his body that isnt quite sharp...but the detail in the face and lighting is superb!
Might have to go back and have a play, see what happens. I'm amazed you say the lighting was superb... it was bloody awful! ISO 1600, F4.5 1/320 focal length 135mm. Could've probably got down to 1/150, but i wanted it to be sharp

5&6) look like are monitors possibley "Salavtors"
But I am sure Stuart will be along shortly to show me up
Nice pics..I agree Chris apart from last two..don't think its salvatory water monitor..head looks wrong..not too sure what that one is..could be a nile monitor I guess??
