These were taken a while ago, but never got round the sharing them on Lochan Na H Achailaise not long after sunrise. The normal view here is really taken the other way, towards the black mount. However, I wanted to capture the rolling mist this area is so famous for, and something a tad different to the norm.

Good idea, or a waste of a shutter depression?
 
I like the mono shot myself the conditions look nice.

My concern was the lack of warm tones in them. But when I saw the blanket of fog/mist I knew I had really interesting conditions.

It was blooming cold and the picture to me reminds me of the cold stillness of that day.

Not all shots need to be warm.
