Color munki usb advice

I wanted to extend the USB cable for my color munki however the replacement I ordered arrived this morning and the male part that fits into it is too small.

What is the standard identification for the usb connector that fits into the color munki?

It's called a mini USB plug. It seems like the one you ordered is a micro USB

You need a mini usb, i think you have a micro

Many thanks I went to Maplins at Chester to get a couple 1.5 and 3m (for projector calibration). It's so much easier when you can see and hold these things.
