in short my back is fubar and i need to stop sitting here in the same position

ideally i could move between three different chairs throughout the day but if i'm working i'll need a laptop, problem is i'm worried about colour shift and accuracy

anyone know anything about particularly good screens on laptops or any that come with? i'm thinking maybe the dell led ones?

FWIW, with calibrations on both screens, my MacBook Pro and my Eizo display are practically indistinguishable.

With the mention of Dell, I suspect you're after a cheaper Windows laptop, though. However, you can also run Windows on the MBP, either in a virtual machine or booted direct into Windows.

I have MBP and it is anything but colour accurate. To be honest the only way to get proper colours out of a laptop is to plug it to a decent monitor via DVI cable (VGA is no good).

I wrestled with it for a while, but I've found the trick with it (using a Spyder 3) is to calibrate using the native white point rather than D6500, which is the default suggestion with the Spyder.
