I have recently posted a picture and have been told by a couple of people that there is a green tinge on the roe deer in the photo one suggestion wasto up the black , I have tried to find how to do this to no avail can someone help please, my camera is a canon 1000d with canons software but I also have Photoshop elements9

Not sure if that technique would work. I assume they are suggesting to adjust the shadow density, however that may simply clog up the shadows without having too great an effect on the deer itself. Would be helpful if you could post a link so that it possible to see the effect you are trying to eliminate

I think you'll find Chaz has made some comments over in the Nature section.

However I made some quick adjustments and found that if you make a -10 green correction it makes things a lot better. If you get into curves as well I found that dropping the curve slightly in the shadow area also improved things

Try it yourself and see

This is going to take some time all this may as well be in a foreign language to me ?

option bar at top of elements 9, click enhance, then you will get a choice of what you want to do, pick adjust colour, then adjust colour curves, then click contrast, and try and aim for a nice s in line, its how you want photo to look
