To be honest these are not working for me, selective colour if the right subject can be brilliant but none of these really do it for me and the fact that the colour is also desaturated too reduces the impact the images could have :shrug:

Matt many thanks for your honesty, these are the first few I have tried so am still learning.

Of the 3, the 3rd is the standout, however even that is weak in comparison with other examples. More saturation, and possible colour the non obvious object. Find a striking image with a primary and secondary focus, and colour the secondary.
