Here we go again I suppose, done some digging but not sure re real world experience.
My current set up is

Macbook pro 13inch mid 2009
Dell UW screen

Most of my editing is done with lightroom on the dell screen. Very occasionally I edit on the MBP but this is rare. When set up I have the dell with lightroom and the MBP with internet open etc. I print using DSCL and Loxley and have downloaded the DSCL profiles which I view in lightroom via proof option.

what’s the best calibrator for this type of set up. I have a huey pro but this seems to now give a pink cast over everything.

Looking around the £100 mark or lower if poss but want something that is future proof as i may move to a new Imac 27 inch in the next 6 months or so

Many Thanks

Hi,

I think the spyder 4 pro will fit my needs after reading further threads on here. (i had a spelling mistake which didnt bring up the full range of threads).

I wonder if any essex / London (city) based togs have one i could try before i buy on line. I dont want to shell out £100 quid if i dont get on with it.

Rgds

Thanks

I also had this with the Huey when I upgraded my main PC to 64bit Windows 7 (from 32 bit). I called Huey and spoke to one of their support people and he suggested deleting the 32 bit driver from my hard drive and then doing a new calibration and. It worked and has been fine since.

Don't know if that's of any use to you but it might be worth a try

Richard, that's interesting as I've not seen that software before. Do you just run DispCALGUI instead of the Huey software?

I know I could just download and try it but I'm trying to ween myself off doing things like that as it eventually bloats the registry and slows the PC down.
