this is the kind of shot for me could make it to canvass....

md:shrug: all thoughts always welcome

you like (y) you dont like

For me the the eyes are just a bit too far from the surrounding processing, but looking past that it's a great effect (y)

worth a thought...

i thought canvass as i have a similer style shot of my wife and i could place this one looking up at her. thought it might add something...

home and tinternet, i was gutted because i spent all day on pp

if you like it thats all that matters mate...evryone has different opinions....

md(y)

Exactly - it's a subjective thing, like any of the arts. Don't be put off by others. It's nice to gain things from others, but only you know what works for you (y)

thanks for the back up, ive had the shot for 8 months and still enjoy looking at it

i might just do that i can get it on a 16x12 canvass for 20 quid so it might just be worth it..

Do it!! Thats a beautifully processed shot (y)

I agree.
Not often I enjoy seeing pics using this processing nowadays, but I love the subtlety of this shot, MD. .. beautiful! (y)

melevo, another lovely shot, actually works very well next MD,s as it offers the darker moodier tones that contrast & compliment MD's high-key pic very nicely! (y)

Oi .... that's selective colouring! (Not that Im trying to start an argument or anything!! ;) )

thank's for the kind words ladies (y)

i know its not everyones cup of tea...

janice shhhhhhh dont let betty see it... :puke:

md(y)

im still not sure about this selective colouring :baby:

I am not sure about canvas - maybe acrylic?

Agreed, and a little bit more colour in the eyes, at the moment they are noticeable on a monitor, which we sit all of a foot away from, in print I think they would need to be slightly less subtle.
