Colour processing

Does anyone know of or can recommend a colour processing kit? I tried one this morning at college, but I think it must have been hanging around far too long as my film didn't process at all. Well, there was something of an exposed scene on the film but nothing you could make out. I'd like to have another bash at it and I can't find this kit anywhere.

You don't specify E6 or C41.

Not done my own C41 for a very long time so no help from me there.

For E6, you can't go far wrong with the Tetanal kit.

Is there a guide for the tetenal kits anywhere?

Can you use just the one tank and change chemicals in between washes?

What's the shelf life?

So many questions.
