Common Lizard

Found this while leafing through a selection of my dark and gloomy black and white landscapes, what a pleasure to find something with a bit of colour and brightness!!

This particular specimen was sunning itself by a path at Strumpshaw Fen in the Norfolk Broads, usually they dart off into the grass as soon as I approach but this one was quite happy to pose while me and my girlfriend snapped away...practically with the lens of a Panasonic lumix touching its nose!!

Great creatures these, loads where I live but not in UK, your shot looks very green, was it this colour or has it changed in PP.
Like lots of critters, some are quite nosey like us so it was good for you on this occasion.

Thanks, yes I did lift the colours a little but agree it does look quite green!

Lovely shot, great to see the Lumix still taking great shots. It was a lumix that got me in to photography many years ago, and now look how broke I am
