Community Craft/ Flower show. Advice needed.

Im attending a community event held inside a marquee tomorrow. Its forecast to be overcast and rainy. Will be taking my 40D and 24-70mm lens. Im not using flash so i will expect to up the ISO. Subject could include, Birds of Prey, Crafts as well as people

I usually take wildlife outdoors, so ive no experience of this type of photography, any tips or advice would be most welcome. I tend to shoot and use the histogram to make my modifications when outdoors. and im usually at 400 ISO and F5.6 for most of my bird shots as a starting point with the 100-400mm.

Any tips advice gratefully received.

Thanks Ken, never gave colour balance a thought, im hoping to learn a lot from this experience. I do shoot in Raw, so i can go over things later, but wonder how i would get colour balance right in the venue itself.?
