Compact Camera that can do animation

Hi All,

A guy at work wants to buy his son a compact camera that he can set to take a shot at say every 30 seconds in order to do some animations. Price upto about £120, any suggestions?

My missus uses these at school for her digital animation workshops. She runs them for 9-10 year olds, so it might be a bit basic depending how old the child is.
The IQ is not amazing, but they're capable of producing some really good results (depending on the skill of the animator of course).
 
Thanks for that Jim, I'll pass it on. Not sure if he wanted a compact for ordinary shots as well though.
