Helloooooooooooo, I have finally covered my iccle digital camera in more alcohol than it can take, so for my birthday my bf has said he will buy me a new one :D

Can anyone recommend any decent ones for a reasonable price?

I was looking at some Nikons yest...

I'd say below £200, as I have my DSLR and its for drunken nights :lol:
 
One of the Panasonic TZ series?
 
I have just bought a Fuji 550 exr for holidays and casual use. Produces a really good A4 print, virtually the same as from an SLR. Cool stuff like panoramas and high speed motordrive and video are on there, a good buy I think at around £165.

has a 24 - 300mm lens as well.........

They're good cameras for the price. You need to be thinking of a bigger sensor if you want better quality - but that costs more than £200....
 
The Canon S95 is down to £229 now at Amazon. Amazing little camera.

And that's my 1000th post :)
 
What about something like an Olympus tough tg-610 it should be good for the occasionaly pint.
 
I have a nikon p300. I love it! Very easy to use. Took on hols, took more pics because of size and had more keepers. It is great for night portraits aswell! Feels better to hold than an s95, a bit bigger and has a couple of rubber bits on both sides as a grip. Have a look on flickr, i have a p300 set. And it is cheaper than others of its kind!! Bonus
