Compact flash speeds question

Hi all,

I could do with a larger/faster CF card, but I just noticed when looking at the Duracel items that the 600x speed is quoted as 'read' speed, how does this relate to write speed? Is it always a set % of the read speed?

Any info on speeds/cards would be great. The Duracell seems alot cheaper than other brands.

Very deceptive of them. I've seen a test where the write speed is more like 400x. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
