Thanks everyone, i have made a decision!!!!

I have just ordered an lX5

Now I need some cheap memory, spare batteries and any one used the adaptor to atke a polarizer? With the adaptor does any 52mm filter fit??

Memory try mymemory, amazon or even play.com all do decent price quality memory

Not tried the adaptor, may have 2 check it out.

The txt on the adapter says:-

Panasonic DMW-LA6E Conversion Lens Adapter Features

Panasonic DMW-LA6 lens adapter allows use of the Panasonic DMW-LWA52 Ultra Wide Angle converter to be fitted on the LX5 digital camera.

The Panasonic LA6 adapter also allows fitment of the DMW-LND52 - 3 stop ND filter (ND8), DMW-LPL52 - Circular Polariser or the DMW-LMC52 - 52mm Protector, or any standard 52mm filter etc

Not bought a spare battery either..

Just wanted to update and say thanks to those you helped me make the decision, been back two days now. Not had chance to look at any RAW ones or stitch any together yet, but below is some JPEG's straight from the camera. Camera worked well all through, only got to just over 5500m in the end because of bad weather (snow storms, 70kph + winds and temps between -30 and -40

Superb! I was going to suggest the s95 but
