Compatibility help

Hi folks

I'm after a bit of help if anybody can please

I recently bought from this forum a genuine Nikon MB-D11 grip for my D7000. I have one genuine and one third party EN-EL15 battery.
I know there are issues using third party batteries in the grip with it reporting flat battery (although this battery works perfectly in the camera)

My issue is - I don't want to leave the third party battery in the body, I want to have the genuine one in there. I also don't want the expense of another genuine battery - dilemma time.
Apparently the Hahnel HLX-EL15 batteries are 100% compatible with genuine and more powerful - does anyone know if the grip will reject this as a third party battery or will it accept it as a genuine battery (as is claimed 100% compatibility). I quite like the idea of the Hahnel ones as I have never had an issue with their kit before but am unsure on this one problem.

So - anybody have any experience of these in a grip?

Buy a Hahnel one from a local shop, tell them it's to work in the grip since it's supposed to be completely compatible. If it turns out it doesn't work in the grip, return it as not suitable for the use you bought it for. Or, bite the bullet and she'll out for a genuine one!

Ended up buying an original Nikon one. Jessops had them at a relatively good price (£59) which was actually 99p cheaper than the Hahnel one.
Also the Hahnel version only gives 1% more shots than the original battery whereas the other batteries they replace they give about 20% more shots.
Much happier with a genuine battery but still begrudge paying 60 quid for it
