Hello me lovelies.
Just to let you all know theres an international charity photographic competition launched this week. All the proceeds are going to MacMillan cancer support and all it costs is a minimum donation of £1 for each image submitted. The project started in January after the tragic death of Steve Brill the husband of a good friend and photographer Caron Wasserman North London. The web site is at:

Before any of you start to send me congratulatory emails on the standard of the web site, please note that if it had been up to me Id have still be drafting it up on a piece of paper with crayons. The web design was largely the work of Michael Shilling who has worked tirelessly on this for so long that if Id had to pay him his worth, he could retire by the weekend.
Even if youre not the sort of person who enters competitions (or even takes their own photographs) you can still make a donation or pass the details on to your nearest and dearest. It would also help with the competitions SEO if you go to

Winners will have their images published in a quality coffee table photo and this will afford the successful participants a showcase for their prize winning work. Sponsors are still coming in, so its probable that the other prizes for the categories and overall winners will get bigger and better exponentially as the project gains inertia.
