condesation

We went camping and over night i left the camera in it`s bag in the car and when i took it out in the morning it immediatly steamed up with condensation so i had to put it in the sun until it went , is there any way of avoiding this?

yes keep the camera in a warm dry place :shrug: It so cold in the boot/car even in Summer, its bound to condensate as soon as its exposed to the air

Keep it in a ziplock bag or airtight container when not in use and allow it to sit and acclimatise when moving between different temp areas

Ziplock bags,with a little bag of silca gel in each

Those little silica bags you often get in things that say dispose/throw away - never do so, just tuck them in your camera bag instead. As Sam says, give your camera and lenses time to acclimatise when going from different temperatures/atmospheres
