Coniston - best places?

Heading to the lakes this weekend - and will DEFINITELY be getting some shots this time (alcohol prevented me on my last trip ;) ).

Will be visiting Coniston water early on Saturday to get some sunrise shots .... can anyone recommend some good locations to capture the shores and lake ???

I went a few years ago to the north side of the lake and remember it being very nice
 
Although I've yet to go up, "The Old Man of Coniston" is supposed to have superb views if the weather's good. Plenty of suggested walks and routes here. Looking forward to seeing your photos! The Lakes is one of my most favourite places to visit.

Looks like I am gonna be heading towards the north west shore - to get pictures eastwards of the sunrise.

Markp - thanks for the link - some great routes on there. That said, on this occasion, I do want to be on the lakshore so as to get some water / rocks / slow shutter speed type shots.

Any more advice greatly appreciated.
