Connecting ipad and tablet to wifi

Can anyone help. We connect to our rugby club router. I'm connected fine on my android tablet until my mate turns up with her ipad and then I can't use internet. If she disconnects I can get back on. We then turned both our phones wifi off and tried to connect the tablet again but didn't work. So it's not the number of connections.

Any ideas?

Sounds like an ip conflict to me, the router will issue an address to a device but depending on the router may reserve the address for a period of time (aka lease) so it may just. On both devices you can see what ip address has been assigned I'd wager theyre the same.

Yep agree I used to have similar problem with my iPod touch and xbox360 both wouldn't connect at the same time, I gave them both static ip addresses and all was well
