There are many threads and topics on the internet about adapting the EFs 10-22 to work on a 1D series body. It works fine with no vignetting and is very sharp including in the corners from 12mm, at 11mm there isvignetting in the corners and at 10mm the mirror catches the rear element of the lens so I never used mine below 12mm.
