Continuous ink system

I was considering getting a continuous ink system.I have an Epson R2400 printer. Noticed on various websites you have the choice of Dye or pigment ink. This means nothing to me, so any help would be grateful. Mostly for printing family portraits and grand kids etc. Also any advice where to buy the system would be appreciated

I got one a month or so ago for my R2880 but not yet installed it as the current carts haven't run out yet. I got it from Inkjetfly after reading various reviews. As long as it works well it should save me a lot of money as the printer is used a lot for my work and not just photos.

I've got a fotospeed CIS system for my R2400 and it uses pigment ink. you don't want to use dye

Thanks for the info Didn't know what ink to use. Will check out fotospeed also
