Contracts

I have completed several of the usual study days where a group of 10-12 get a few min each to shoot a model in poses set up by whoever is running the course. I am now going for the first time to hire a model and have arranged a day a week from now for an outdoor shoot. What are peoples feelings on contracts ? are they essential and if so has anyone any ideas on wording etc.

Yes absolutely, even if its all good before or during the shoot you never know whats going to happen. Whilst iv never been stung with it in photography, I have previously in design work.... well worth doing!
