Beginner Controlling Godox AD360 remotely

Morning all,

I used to understand flash but being out of touch with it for a few years it's all left me.

I'm using Pixel King Pro transceivers to fire a Godox AD360 flash but I don't seem to be able to remotely adjust the power, no matter the adjustments I make to the PK pro on the camera's hot shoe, the flash strength is what is dialled into the PK pro the Godox flash is sat on.

Is there a way of doing it or do I need to buy these: https://www.photospecialist.co.uk/g...F38uWTiRqhJCehfxq6mZp5R5yHT_MgVhoCKV8QAvD_BwE

I should mention I want to fire the flash in HSS also

Many thanks in advance

I don't know the pixel king stuff. I know that the Godox X1T and the XTR16 pair do HSS very nicely. The triggers you've linked to will allow remote power adjustment but I don't think they'll do HSS.

I'm assuming that there's a variant of the X1T for Sony; dyor.

If your using the non TTL version yes you could use that trigger or you could go for the X1T trigger and the X1r personally I would go for the second option.

So this on the camera:

this into the USB slot on the flash:

will allow HSS and remote power adjustment?

thanks everyone.

Anyone wanna buy some pixel kings??

I would of thought you could control manual settings, obviously their is no TTL, although I am just assuming here as I thought all Godox stuff was compatible.

The AD360 version 1 is a pre X1 system flash and it's got a dump hotshoe. To control it remotely the USB receiver is needed. It's actually quite an effort and very nice Godox even took their time and rescources to upgrade the ftr16 to a xtr16 and make their older flash just semi compatible with the X1 system.

Ah didn't realize it was pre X1 system, makes sense now.
