Hello,

I little while back someone posted about some software you can down load to control your camera when you plug it into your computer?

My camera is the Nikon D60.

Does anyone know of the link?

Thanks

There is Nikon's software 'Camera Control Pro 2', and I am sure I spotted one a flickr user had coded himself. I will see if I can find the page.

I've just been messing about with the Camera Control Pro 2 trial. Got to say, it's a pretty impressive piece of software. You can use remote live-view and use the mouse to choose a focus point. You can literally control everything from your computer, change camera settings and then send them back to your camera.

It's an expensive-ish piece of software at £130 but it does a lot for your money and if you can see yourself using this regularly, probably well worth the investment. I'm thinking about it. I've been sat in my office all day with my camera sat outside tethered to the computer and I've been taking shots of birds flying off and landing on the bird feeder outside.

It's like playing Space Invaders.
