Converter for nikon 80-200mm ed

However, its certainally not a poor mans choice, i shoot professionally with a D3S, Nikon 1.4x and 400mm f/2.8 as a fIrst body set up but on my second body i use a D3S/D700 with a Nikon 70-200mm and Kenko teleplus pro DG 1.4X and other than no weather sealing i cant see any difference between the 2 quality wise

You will probably be better with the newer DGX version as the older DG version struggles to correctly report the correct aperture with some older lenses, a non issue really but if youre a tad anal about these things then the DGX is the way to go.

Gary, I was interested to read your reply regarding there being no difference in the IQ between the Kenko and Nikon.
Do you have any info. on the Kenko 2x Pro 300 DGX converter please
Will be using it on the 70-200 VRII
Stuart, I would be interested in your impressions on the 1.4x please
