hi all

i've seen a gadget on the internet (on american websites) that you screw onto the front of your lens and then it allows you to photograph 35mm slides. i cannot find a similar gadget on any UK websites and i've done a search in the TP forums, but cannot find anything either.

does anyone know if such a gadget is sold in the UK?

The closest I can think of is a 'Slide Copier', though this merely copies the slide. Check out a well known auction site, and there are dozens of them.

Nigel.

I use a light box and a 50mm lens with extention tubes :)

I think the product you are after might be called 'Xtend-a-Slide'?

Thank you for the replies.

The website states that you need a focal length of 55-100mm to use this device. Will my 18-55mm lens do the job when I zoom to 55mm, or do I need something longer?
