"cool slideshow" software

Hi guys,


My wedding is on Saturday and I have 3 major things to complete.

My soon-to-be brother in law has pulled out of doing his speech as he can't overcome his stage fright. So, I've convinced my litte brother/sister to say a few words. They'd like to do a 2-3 minute slideshow.

Do any of you know of any fool-proof software that can do something like that in the video above?

They didn't want to use powerpoint which they use in school because it doesn't look as "cool" as the vid in the link. I've just spent a few hours the previous nights in sheer panic looking for some of my baby pictures and am half way through scanning them in right now.

The MAIN things we liked about the video in my first post is that

1. the pictures 'flew' in nicely

2. you can add music (come to think of it, this is not a major issue cos we can get our DJ to play the music)

3. the text that came in between the pictures, means my lil bro/sis don't have to speak.

4. the way you can ZOOM into a certain part of a pic during the slideshow


Any help you provide will be very much appreciated!

ps. the other major things I have to learn is how to dance! I have 2 left feet. And a welcomeing speech. I am sh***ing it. :shake:
 
There must be lots of software about for this type of thing.

I have used this one in the past. There is a 15 day free trial.

I ill take a look at each of those. Forgot to say, I'm on a PC.

It would be fantastic to be told of those pieces of software, which you have tried or have heard great praise of/seen great examples of.
 
A quick update.

I used Proshow Producer. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty cool!

Everyone loved the slideshow at my wedding reception. Adding 4 different songs to the 'soundtrack' was awesome!!
