Cool things with paper/carboard?

I just though, Some people have suggest stuff like use a lens cap with a hole in it for some kind of pin effect lol dont ask, something i over read once, and I dunno i just used a toilet roll tube and that was pretty funny on the end but created a cool effect, anyone else got ideas?
