Those both appear aimed at detecting copies rather than protecting against things being copied in the first place, unless I am missing something.
 
Was thinking along the lines of being a deterrent as people may worry about you being able to catch them? Not sure it would be of much use to be honest but you never know!
 
copy protection is something that can help or hinder.

possibly the best way to protect yourself , is something like proshow , where you can produce a time limited show for proofs.

once they expire they could contact you for another copy. this would make it more difficult for poeple to distribute copies.

as for protecting disk there is a product call dvdnext copy. it copies anything, i am not saying you should use this but before you , spend money on expensive protection , you should be aware of products like this

the other point is that the more difficult you make it , some poeple take this as a challenge

Proshow sounds like an interesting product - people may be caught up in the moment at first when viewing and may not even think about copying it until later....when it's too late!
