Copying data from ext HD to another.

I'm sure the answer to this is no, but just thought I'd check first.

If i want to copy all the data from 1 external HD to another, there's no way i can do this without a computer, is there?

Was thinking of some sort of cable that just links the two and bingo!

Not possible as something has to control the transfer of data.

You can get a wee gizmo that does clone your hard drive onto another hard drive. I have one at home (about 2" square), but I can't remember the name of it

Have a hunt around ebay, or the like, for hard drive cloner.

It can be done and may take a while but you need one of these
