It's quite unbelievable the amount of work that a very small number of people have been doing behind the scenes to try and get Section 43 of the DEB thrown out, and this is just one example.

They may have a vested interest in that they're photographers themselves, but really it's to benefit all photographers, and they are doing it all unpaid.

The DEB is probably being debated as we speak.

It is a bill that seems geared to benefit large media companies whilst slashing the rights of the small guy and private individual. The fact the bbc are furious about image use in a way that this bill will only make easier is supreme irony and yet no surprise at all....
