Also how do you add a link to you signature here to your Flickr account.?

Do you mean watermark then Nicki? If so then yes definitely. With the tag system and search - flickr is a goldmine for people to steal images. Keep your settings so that only friends and family can access full size pics :)

Give me the link to your flickr and I will do the flickr sig for you :)
 
Your main flickr page - eg flickr.com/photos/brionyspics

Click the flickr logo top left and copy the address from there :)

Or just send me your username you use to login :)
 
Think I have found it and sent to you but where do I add it in my CP? Getting there :bang:
 
Teehee no worries! Have pm'ed you the code back. Click on 'My CP' then 'edit signature' on the left hand side :)

I have added it to signature so see what happens.
 
Hmmm have checked some of your longer posts and it isnt showing up (you need to hit a certain character limit before sig will show).

Have you got the box ticked that says 'show signature' when you type a new post? It is just below the text editor.
 
Where is the text editor button,? but I have found it where is say signature submissions but cannot find a way into that:bang:

I can see it it is there di you do that or did I do it :thinking: still now have to add watermark to all of them or can I just tick the copyright button? and is there a bitton on Flick R that I can stop people downloading them?

Right - you are missing a bracket - add a [ to the start of the sig before where it says URL.

Once you have uploaded a pic, clik on it, and on the right hand side near bottom you will see:


* All Rights Reserved (edit)
* Want to license your photos through Getty Images?
* Anyone can see this photo (edit)

Click 'edit' on the first one and you will be able to tweak the license.

The 'Anyone Can see' is how you make an image only visible to your friends and family.

Will do a quick writeup of hiding the sizes for you :)
 
Nicki - at the bottom of this thread, where you type your reply, there is a tick box underneat it and to the right that says 'Show your signature'.... is this ticked?
 
Next, you will want to hide the ability to download full sized images to everyone except those you add to your friends and family.

To do this go to your photostream page, then:
You>Your Account> Privacy and Permissions tab, then click edit on 'Who can access your original image files?' and change to 'friends and family'. This means that only people you designate will be able to access the original files, the rest will only see smalled resized ones.

Have referred this to TP Staff Towers for one of them to take a looksee. I cant see anywhere else you would have to switch it on in.

See post above for setting flickr sizes permissions :)
 
Done :thumbs: but can everyone see them (hark at me who would want to see them :lol:) but only friends and family can download them at the original size is that correct?

Indeed. Just check these options a bit further down that same page:

Who will be able to see, comment on, add notes, or add people

* See: Anyone
* Comment on: Any Flickr user
* Add notes, tags, and people: Your contacts

I cant see the sig Marc... can on her profile but not on any posts - have checked longer ones too?
 
Right hopefully my Flickr changes have been made so that everyone can see my photos, only fronds and family can download at the original size and they can only tage etc, but anyone can comment.

Still trying to sort out my sig though whay it keeps appearing and dissapearing:cuckoo:

So that means that the longet the message then the sig will show? right?
does this account for everyone?
