Copyright Issue?

No
I've got a guy on flickr who contacted me wanting 4 photos of mine for calendars that he's producing to sell. These photos contain buildings that belong to Trusts such as the National Trust etc. He's willing to offer me a moderate price for usage of the photos and a credit. What I'd like to know though is there a copyright issue here when it comes to him putting these photos on a calendar and then selling them. Is permission needed first from the owners of these buildings? I've asked him this question and he maintains that there isn't a problem and ultimately since he is the publisher it will fall on him.
Advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think it pretty much ALL comes down to if you were standing on public land or not. If the photographs were taken on private land then the permission would be needed from the land owner/manager.

I was going to say it would the publishers issue to sort, but if you are selling the images to them, then that could be seen as commercial use and therefore would also be your problem.

That's what I was thinking too..
All but one was taken within the grounds of the properties.
I think I'll give this one a wide berth to save any complications.
Thanks for your help.
