Cosina lenses?

Are they cheap... yeah... Very...

So not really. Perhaps if you weren't sure you were going into a certain area, might be good to use to try out and see what you might get.

Most things work along the more money in ;) better quality.

btw this is just my opinion.

There are a few lenses that are (relatively) cheap and produce good results...

eg: 50mm f1.8 (100ukp), 35mm f1.8 (170ukp)

Depends which lenses you are thinking of checking out? Zoom ones?
 
I have an old Cosina 100mm Macro that my dad used on his Nikon, added an adapter for the Canon and works fine albeit manual aperture and focus.
