Cost of lens af motor

Anyone have any idea of the cost of repair on sigma fisheye zoom lens? motor makes a noise but not focusing.

Depends on the lens.

No one can really answer, best to contact sigma, I've dealt with them for my 50A and they are good, not too expensive I recall...less than £200? It was sand in the barrel.

I sent a lens to sigma a while ago for that problem. If memory serves me correctly, it cost around £100.

Mark Thanks for a superb post that solved my problem straight away There is a broken lens for sale that I thought of buying but it does not warrant the cost and trouble.
