Ordered a Z8 from Cotswold on the 14th of this month and it has turned up this morning, excellent service from them once again.
Arrived today so 9 business days. RM did just leave it on the door step although to be fair they tend to do that as we don’t have public walking past!Well I’ve ordered it now and had an acknowledgment- just waiting to see how long it takes to get here.
I'm wanting an A7V to replace my A7C, can't decide between EInfinity and Cotswold.Ordered a Sony A7V & 70-200mm lens Monday lunchtime from Panama, it was delivered on the Friday morning of the same week. Fantastic service as usual.
From personal experience I would go for Panamoz... I had to raise a dispute with Paypal regarding a Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8 lens I ordered with Cotswold and wouldn't use them again. (Although my previous two orders were fine.)I'm wanting an A7V to replace my A7C, can't decide between EInfinity and Cotswold.
What was the issue with the lens? From personal experience I would go for Panamoz... I had to raise a dispute with Paypal regarding a Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8 lens I ordered with Cotswold and wouldn't use them again. (Although my previous two orders were fine.)
If you send Tina a email at Panamoz she may match Effinity.

I'm not liking the sound of this
I never thought to see if Panamoz would price match, used them a few times in the past without any issues. This is my first time using Cotsworld.
I placed the order with Cotswold for the 14-24mm Z f2.8 lens last July ready for our holiday in the September. I had tracking three days after ordering and started to follow the tracking process. After about six days I looked at the order again and the order had been pulled and returned to the supplier. Contacted Cotswold and they didn't know what was going on initially and then after a few more days Cotswold contacted me and stated the Paypal had pulled the order, yes right I thought!! Contacted PayPal and they said the payment had been made to Cotswold which married in with my PayPal statements. Back and forth with Cotswold and I raised a dispute with Paypal and had my money back roughly 8 weeks later.
I ended up ordering a Tamron 16-30mm G2 from Wex for my holiday.
I've used Cotswold for years - no problems whatsoever.
Out of the three Cotswold is the only one I have had an issue with, I have dust on the back of a lens from them, they didn't want to know said it's totally acceptable. I did end up helping it because it does make zero difference to photos, but there messages left a sour taste.I've used Cotswold for years - no problems whatsoever.

As an alternative to Cotswold and Panamoz, I have just used Cameriz for the first time. I bought a Sony A1 II and a Sony 20-70 F4 for a really good price. 12 days from order to delivery via FedEX who kept me well informed on progress. I would certainly would be happy to use Cameriz again.
They seem to be pretty competitive with e-infinity, Cotswold, CamerasDori etc. I certainly saved more money using Cameriz.Used them in the past for an R3 and to be fair the service was excellent although i seem to remember them being slightly more expensive.
They seem almost too cheap, that's a huge difference.Just looked at prices for the Sony A7R vi
Cameriz just under 3k
Cotswold 3.5k
Panamoz just over 3.5k
Cameriz gtee is 2 years but no idea what they are like if any issues
Always nerve racking at first, I'll keep an eye on them.I have used Cameriz for a few purchases very successfully over the last few months. They may be the new kid on the block but they price very aggressively and I have had absolutely no problems.

I completely understand your position.I'll be upgrading my macro kit soon and I must admit to being really tempted to order from Cameriz.
The £2,600 saving on a Canon R5mk2 and a Canon RF100mm Macro is not to be sniffed at but, spending just over £3,000 with a relatively unknown/very new company does make it a bit of a nervous purchase.
I just need to grow a pair and hope PayPal will have my back in case of any issues.
They've never matched a price for me either.Cameriz and Camerasdori are just as good as the likes of e-infinity and Panamoz. I checked with Barclaycard before buying from both and was assure they would cover me as normal. I bought a Sony A1 mk II and various lenses from the two companies with absolutely no issues. I will be ordering more lenses from them shortly.
As for Panamoz price matching, I have asked them three or four times to do so with various purchases and they only lowered their price once and even then it never matched the price I was looking for.

You're saving so much, I just buy not expecting a warranty. Pretty much any single repair will still make it cheaper anyway.Initial purchase is only one aspect, the other is warranty!
The Panamoz 3 year warranty is tried, tested and good.Initial purchase is only one aspect, the other is warranty!
