Counterfeit Flash drives...

Hi all, I thought i'd warn everyone on these boards about hooky flash drives being sold on certain auction sites...this is one I recieved today in the mail.

Looks good doesn't it...but don't be fooled
After running a flash drive checking program it came up with these results...

The media is likely to be defective.

As you can see it's only 1.9gb & has been hacked to show 64gb when windows reads it...
My advice would be is never buy these drives from China or Hong Kong especially if the price is just to good.

That would apply to anything bought off eBay whether from China or the anywhere. If the deal looks too good to be true it's because it is too good to be true.

generally flash memory seems to be faked more than most though. thats why i always buy from a reputable store.
