I like the black and white, would be interesting to see the comparison with colour, personally don't like the black top and bottom it would look much better with out them.

Great shot, personally I like the B&W the only thing I would change is to clone out the wire going across the river.

I like this too, but preferred the higher contrast in the original version. I also got the 'cinematic' feel that you started with by including those black borders.
