Oooooh my favourite bird - lovely pair of images. Good light and details, especially on the wings and tail of the first one. Great eyes on the 2nd.

I'm going to head up to Hermaness next week to see them - fingers crossed for a half decent day's weather!

Sandra - it's a long way from Surrey, but if you can get to Bemtpon Cliffs, near to Bridlington in Yorkshire, in the coming weeks, you will see thousands of them - an amazing sight.

Stunning shots, the detail and clarity of both of these is superb. I particularly like number two as it shows in great detail the eye colouring.

I'm heading to Bempton Cliffs today, so fingers crossed for some good Gannet sightings.
